Getting Started

Before you can start driving you will need a provisional driving licence. You can apply for your licence up to three months before your 17th birthday. You can obtain this form from The Post Office or the DVLA website.

Getting started with me is simple. Just contact me to arrange your first lesson.
I can, if you wish, visit you at home to discuss the learning to drive process before your first lesson.

Please contact me if you have any questions or queries, however trivial they may seem to you at the time, I will be only too happy to help.

Before you start to drive I will check your provisional licence (both photocard and paper part.)
I will also carryout a simple eyesight test by asking you to read a number plate from approx 20.5metres (as recommended by the DSA.)

On lesson days I can meet you at home, school or work etc and finish at any local place you wish.
Very importantly, your lesson will be on a “one to one” basis from start to finish with no other pupil sharing.
