 What car do you use for your lessons?
A new model Vauxhall Corsa with air conditioning, manual gearbox, dual controls, power-assisted steering, ABS and fully adjustable Driving Seat.
How long is a lesson?
Lessons are normally one to two hours long but I am flexible to your needs. A two hour lesson is more productive and your learning retention is much higher in this concentrated session.
How can I pay?
You can pay by cash or cheque.
How much do you charge per lesson?
The cost depends on the length of the lesson but please contact me, then we can discuss the cost and any discounts you may be entitled to. In addition, discount is given for block bookings.
Will I need to do any homework?
Lesson preparation is important. I give lesson handouts to help you prepare for your next lesson so that more time is spent actually driving/learning and not talking at the side of the road. This type of learning will also be very helpful for your theory test.
Do you teach in a vehicle with automatic gearbox?
I have no plans to offer lessons in an automatic car.
Can I start my lessons from school or work ?
Yes and any other agreed place. I will also finish the lesson where you want locally.It also doesn’t have to be the same place each lesson……just let me know !
Do you cover my area ?
I cover an area 10-12 miles radius of Langtoft…..so that’s Peterborough, Stamford, Bourne, The Deepings, Spalding and surrounding villages. Just give me a ring.
Do you offer refresher courses ?
Yes…I am very happy to offer refresher courses in whatever you would like. It may be a parking issue, motorway driving or just a bit of nervousness to overcome.
 Do you have a sense of humour ?
Yes I definitely do! It is very important to make you feel as relaxed as possible by being friendly and “normal” because most people find their first few lessons a little nervous. I was a learner driver once so I know what its like!
Can I buy lessons for someone else ?
Yes. Paying for lessons for someone makes a lovely present or gift. I also give discount for block bookings which is even better value.
Does a call centre operate your lesson bookings ?
No. You will talk directly to me on either of my numbers 01778 345186 or 07725 321528. Please bear in mind that I will have my phone switched off whilst driving and giving lessons, so just leave a message and I will return your call asap. Don’t forget you can text or email me aswell.
